how does our JOY
course take you on a journey?

JOY is a unique 8-week RESET, where you'll use specifically created Pilates workouts, to disconnect then re-connect your body & mind.
You will allow yourself to be a beginner, to get back to basics. Then you will be guided to build upon this every week.
Joy is all about including rather than excluding.
We use the connection of Pilates to build core strength from your base and focus on your smaller stabilising muscles and abdominals.
We focus on breath and how we use this to increase your abdominal connection.
- Have gained all the understanding and skills you need to participate in Pilates classes correctly and confidently.
- Know everything you need to know about Pilates and how it can help you move freely without pain or injury.
- Have a true understanding of Pilates fundamentals, connecting your abdominals and the Pilates breath.

You'll include daily meditation and moments of stillness to quieten the mind and see what thoughts pop-up.
You'll be walking every day to move your body, increase your heart rate and open your body up to help get the most out of your Pilates workouts.
And lastly, you'll write...as your body unwinds, you'll take the time to notice your mind and what comes to mind.
In the last four weeks you'll pay particular attention to your dietary intake.

- Have learned to feel in control of your body and how it moves.
- Stand taller, feel stronger, improve your balance as you focus more on your posture.
- Completed 4 beginners Pilates classes with an individual class focus in each one to allow you to put into practice each technique we learn.
Pilates is so much more than only the movement and this course shows you that, through regular Pilates training and proper connection, you can reconnect and rediscover yourself. Discover your JOY along your Pilates journey.
